Terms of service
This is a translation for convenience. The Finnish terms prevail.
1. Scope
1.1. These terms apply to the running coaching service provided by Koutsimo Juoksuvalmennus (the ”Service”).
1.2. By using the Service you accept these terms in full. If you do not accept these terms, do not use the Service.
2. Description of the Service and right of use
2.1. The Service provides running coaching and instructions and possibly other content related to exercise and health.
2.2. By registering for the Service and paying the subscription fee you get the right to use the Service for the subscription period.
2.3. You can order the Service as a monthly subscription or a one-off purchase, depending on the content of the service.
2.4. The right of use is personal and may not be transferred or assigned to third parties.
3. Ordering and payment
3.1. Placing an order requires paying the subscription fee and possibly providing additional information to the coach.
3.2. The subscription fee is paid in advance for the subscription period or monthly as a recurring charge, which you can cancel during the subscription period if you wish.
3.3. After payment you will receive a confirmation of your order by email.
4. Cancellation and refunds
4.1. You can cancel your recurring subscription monthly with a notice period of 1 month.
4.2. A monthly subscription can be cancelled through the payment service (Stripe). Cancellation instructions are in the purchase confirmation.
4.3. Payments are not refunded after cancellation unless otherwise stated or agreed.
5. Limitation of liability
5.1. Koutsimo Juoksuvalmennus is not liable for any damage or loss caused by use of the Service.
5.2. Koutsimo Juoksuvalmennus does not guarantee the continuous availability of the Service in force majeure situations, or that the Service is free of errors.
6. Changes to the agreement
6.1. Koutsimo Juoksuvalmennus may change these terms when necessary by giving advance notice on the Service website or by email.
6.2. By continuing to use the Service after the changes you accept the changed terms.
7. Governing law and disputes
7.1. These terms are governed by Finnish law.
7.2. Any disputes are primarily resolved through negotiation. If negotiation does not lead to agreement, disputes are resolved in the Helsinki District Court.

Koutsimo Lactate Lab
L1. These additional terms apply to the Koutsimo Lactate Lab tool and its codes. They take precedence over the terms above if the two conflict.
L2. You buy a code that opens the number of analyses you purchased. The code is delivered after payment to the email address you gave at checkout. A purchased code does not expire. Keeping it safe is your responsibility.
L3. One analysis uses one report on the code. The same test opens again in the same browser without using a report. If you change the measurements or open the test on another device, it counts as a new analysis.
L4. Consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of purchase. By accepting the terms at checkout you ask for the code to be delivered immediately and accept that the right of withdrawal ends when you first use the code. You can cancel an unused code by email at simo@koutsimo.com. When the payment is refunded, the code stops working. Your rights in the event of a faulty service remain.
L5. Lactate Lab is a coaching tool. The results are calculated estimates that depend on the entered measurements and how the test was carried out. The tool is not a medical device and does not replace a healthcare assessment or a laboratory test. You take part in testing at your own risk.
